Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Holy God, many grow weary of persistent problems that seem to linger past our ability to endure. In times like these we are thankful that we can cast our cares upon You because You are our Heavenly Father; and You care for us. Lord, we long for the safety and relief found in You alone. And we earnestly seek Your peace that comes when the Holy Spirit ushers us into Your divine presence.
Sovereign God, it is in Your power and while seeing life through Your perspective that we can look beyond our pain and the problems of this world. Then we find Your direction and discover sweet rest in You. We become confident that You are our answer and You never leave nor forsake us. Heavenly Father You direct us through troubled waters and escort us to higher places where we acquire the comfort and wisdom we so sorely need. In our time of trouble You are our refuge and strength. Lord, You are all we need. Yes, now through eternity; You are all we need.
Today we pray for the spiritual stamina and mental fortitude to cling to You; and rejoice in Your goodness and mercy that follows us all the days of our lives. Dear God, You are The Great Shepherd who leads us “beside quiet waters.” And You refresh our weary souls. Lord, today and everyday, we rest in Your wisdom and divine provisions. Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
