Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Holy God, today we are reminded of Your great love and care for us. You crafted and precisely prepared the plan to redeem mankind from the bondage of sin. And when the moment came, in the fullness of time (Galatians 4:4-5), Jesus was born of a virgin in a humble place called Bethlehem. He who is God: left heaven; took on human form; and lived on this earth among men. He came, knowing He would be misunderstood, rejected and crucified on Calvary’s cross. Yes, He came knowing that He would die for sins He did not commit; and pay the price to redeem those who knew Him not. There is no greater love. And how can we say thank You?
Gracious God, six hundred years before the virgin birth, You inspired Your prophet to utter the prophetic words: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isa. 7:14). His name is Jesus, God with us. He is The One who Is, Was and Forever Shall Be. Ride on King Jesus. Ride on our Conquering King.
Today with hearts of gratitude, we find peace and joy in Your love. Lord, today and everyday we say thank You. In Jesus Name we pray and give thanks. Amen.
