I Love You, Lord

HEBREWS 13 :15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name.

Lord Jesus, during this season of giving thanks, we continue to be grateful for Your presence, power and peace in our lives. These are gifts of supernatural proportions that cannot be measured, purchased or borrowed. They are gifts that flow from Your grace, love and mercy to those whose hearts are surrendered to You.

Lord, You continually offer us all that we need in full measure. The song writer correctly proclaims: “How can we say thanks for the things you have done for us; things so undeserved, yet you gave to prove your love for us? The voices of a million angels can’t express our gratitude. All that we are and ever hope to be; we owe it all to You.” Oh God, from the depths of our hearts, we say thank You.

God in Heaven, we are created first and foremost to honor and glorify You; so it pleases You and satisfies our souls to give You thanks. Thanksgiving and praise place us in a proper relationship with You and open the way for Your righteousness to flow into us. Right now Lord, we offer you a crescendo of thanksgiving and praise; not because of the season and not because of what You give. It’s just because of who You are; and there is none like You.  In all of creation, there is none like you. Glory to Your Holy Name! In Jesus Name, we pray and give thanks. Amen.
